how to delete old topics/reduce clutter

I have some old topics.some have been moved or locked etc.

How do you delete these?

If this is not the correct forum for this question. Sorry,but I didnt see a topic for this!

You can't delete old topics to my understanding. I think only an Admin can delete a topic. Mods, maybe. Don't remember for sure, though.

Wish I could say. Of course, I'd probably think they wouldn't, but I don't speak for them. One of the higher-ups can give you a better answer as I'm just a part of clean-up crew, more or less :thumbsup:

We do not make a practice of deleting posts unless they violate the rules or terms of use. Additionally the forums are crawled and cached by Google and other bots. So the post lives on even if it's not here.

There needs to be a compelling reason for a post to be deleted. And deleting is at our discretion as per the forum rules and terms of use.
