Hi everyone,

I am on my work computer and somehow someone open or saved what I believe to be a spyware.

lookng for suggetions

zepher5150 in Los Angeles

I am on a PC..using XP

Here is my problem:
I like to use google as my homepage but now when I reset google in internet options as my homepage...this web--search.com automatically overrides and becomes my set home page.

HELP :thumbsup: any suggestions on how I can uninstall this default spyware homepage program..

Sounds like you have a override file on google. I think its kalled host files or something like that.

hopefullt the members at bc can help you with any of your computer needs or problems.

Welcome to BC!

First thing I want you to do is to download, install, update and run a full scan of each of the following: Spybot-Search&Destroy, Ad-Aware, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, (if you don't have an AV try Avast!).

All of these programs can be found in my signature. :thumbsup:
