Just built a new AMD dual-core, but not sure why my reset button isn't working on the front of the tower. Do you think I switched the wires and put them on the wrong pegs on the MB?

That would be my first thought, double check to be sure that you are using the correct pins on the front panel header.

You can test the function by momentarily shorting out the two pins on the header, this is what the switch does normally.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
