Hello bleepingcomputer community. I am having a problem, but it might not be a problem, because it has only happened once. Here is the "problem". I was on a website, that AVG says is good but after i stayed on the page for a while, all of a sudden about Internet Explorer keeps re opening, i had to shut down the computer for it to stop, and it wouldn't let me end IEXPLORE.exe in the task manager. I dont know what the problem is, but im asking for some help, Piece of mind rather to make sure its not spyware/adware/malware. I have not downloaded anything recently, but just in case i would like to know.

I personally think its a Virus exploit, but i need some further backup.

Virus: AVG Free
Firewall: Windows Firewall

Use the two programs below to find and remove the malware. Be sure to update after installing and before rebooting into safe mode.

Super Antispyware instructions:

MalwareBytes AntiMalware instructions:

Use Ccleaner to remove temporary files, logs, cookies, etc. before scanning with the two programs above. During install you
will be offered the Yahoo Toolbar. UNcheck if not wanted. http://www.ccleaner.com/

After doing all of the above allow Secunia to scan your computer for missing security updates for all of your programs.
Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, IE Browser, and Java have all recently been exploited and updates have been released to fix them. http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/
After updating Java go to the Add/Remove program and remove ALL old Java programs.
