Is Vundo Spread Via Email?

I know that I am infected on my home PC and working on getting it fixed, but I was wondering if Vundo is spread on to my contacts? If there is a way to figure out where/when/how? I want to send out an email warning people if they could have it, but not alarm them.

Simply put yes. It is a Trojan Horse . Trojans can be distributed by unsolicited email attachments, or bundled with freeware and shareware programs. Trojans are also often bundled with computer cracks.
