I had the popup " Antivirus 2009 then it became Antivirus 360 " i ran SAS and ATF and mbam and they didnt find anything, my system is XP Home... i also use cclean and AVG Free, I'm just afraid something might still be there... Thanks

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine. If you have not done so, include a description of your problem, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results, click no to the Optional_Scan
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

I have not had the pop-up for Anti Virus 360 since i did what i was requested to do, however my PC just seems slow to boot up and windows doesnt respond properly sometimes and sometimes it will freeze up. Here is the dds log

That log looks clean. Slowness is the only issue?

There is a file on your machine that I want to have a look at.

Submit File Sample
  • Open to the Submission Channel.
  • Under Link to topic where this file was requested, input:

  • Under Browse to the file you want to submit, input:

Panda, i found that 995.bat file, i couldnt copy and paste it to this reply.... and now it seems to have disappeared because i cant find it when i search for it.
The slowness isnt to bad its just that windows explorer will freeze up at times... if my log looks clean then i suppose i have nothing to worry about and also i want to add that i got that Antivirus 360 pop up responding to an email i got from using craigslist.......... when i googled it i found that it was a Vundo Trojan so i thought i got infected.... if you think i'm good to go... then i thank you for your help or is there something you want me to do still ?
