My computer is running slow and I noticed the CPU usage was at 100%. I have been having a tough time eliminating asomething from my printer it says a file is in use but, for the life of me I can't figure it out. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

a simple apporach is to hit crtl+alt+delete and look at your processes tab, then sort everything but hitting mem usage. See what program is taking up the most memory to run and disable it provided it isnt an essential program. I would suggest searching the image name on google before ending the process.

Use caution when shutting down processes, some processes are necessary for Windows to work properly. Only items with your user name, and even then there are exceptions, should be shut down.

Your prob is the print spooler. Go to this E-bay computer board & on it is the same prob as yours. Here is the thread.
