Using Win ME and IE 6. About 1 mo ago I started having this problem on sites that I have previously used without any problem at all. Despite the fact that my browser IS set correctly to accept all cookies and I have placed these sites in my trusted zone, I receive the message "In order for site to function properly, you should enable Cookies in your browser" and am unable to use site. Nothing obvious has changed about my computer. I have tryed deleting cookies and temp files. I have googled for others with this problem to no avail. It is hard to understand if something has changed on the internet system itself to cause this problem when I don't find others complaining about it. Any ideas appreciated.

Hi saw46,

Do you have a new firewall? Do you have the updates for IE6, including SP1?

The beginning part of this article might be useful: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912945

Thank you for your reply. I have to check my account as I did not receive notice of a reply. The short answer to your suggestions is ...yes. The answer to my question was a when Hotmail did something new to their site. They now have a "print" block of their own vs the file-print windows option and this new block works. I can now print without a problem and Hotmail truly tics me off as they never responded to any of the 4 emails I sent to their tech help (don't allow calls) and yet they must have been receiving complaints as they made this change. Thanks again for your efforts....much appreciated.
