I have run hjt and avg, removed tons of stuff, and I'm left with a couple lingering problems:

The file
c:\windows\system32\drivers\core.cache.dsk is still there, after being set for removal multiple times by hjt and spybot.
The hard drive is full now (side effect of one of the viruses i had, probably related to smitfraud) and i can't determine where all the files are coming from, or where they are being saved, so i can't find them to delete them.

i wanted to use the smitfix.exe that everyone talks about, but it doesn't work on server 2003.
I also can't use the combofix program, as that doesn't work on server 2003.

I'm running malwarebytes, so we'll see how that goes, but does anyone have any ideas/steps i should be taking here that i'm not?

Thanks in advance.

If you use Spybot's teatimer, disable it for the time being
Combofix and HJT are only discussed and reviewed by HJT team members in the HJT forum

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
