Could anyone please advise as to any remedial cure for when your 14 days activation " days of grace " have expired, how to gain entry back into your desktop again, apart from starting in safe mode.
My son has allowed his validation period to expire and of course he is now locked out of his system..........................Any help please ?

You need to call Microsoft and validate your version of XP.
