Hi All,

Thanks for reading this.. my mum (who lives in Holland) is being pestered by many spyware problems, she keeps on getting pop ups even when she is not connected to internet or has her browser open. Most of the are from 'loadingwebsite', 9ringtones or are blank.
It took me days to get her to install and run Adaware, S&D Spybot and she is running McAfee (updated) and Norton constantly (adaware too).
In the beginning she kept on getting stuff back but it seems to be a bit better but she still gets the popups.

This is her log:

I hope you can give me some guidance.
I have asked her to download vx2 appendix to adaware and CWshredder too but I would rather have someone confirm that that is what to do because I haven't got a clue really :-)

Thanks!

Hi teegee and welcome to the BC forums. Before we get started I need you to get some information on a couple of files.

Go to the Jotti's malware scan page and use the buttons at the top of the page to browse to this file(s) on your hard drive and submit it for a scan:C:\WINDOWS\system32\resetservice.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\srvany.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\e0202afmgd2a2.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\reset5.dll

Several scanning engines will be used to check the file for any threats. Please post the results of the scans back here.

Cheers.
