When ever i open a spreadsheet - Excel, it makes my computer freeze every 20 seconds or so.
Not sure whats causing it but i cannot do anything when it freezes up.
I have no Malware, Spyware, Adware, Trojans or any threats.
I have 4GB of RAM
Vista Home Premium
My computer is about 3 months old.

Any help

Thanks,
Samuel3.

Hello samuel3,

I'm a bit confused here. You say that problem is with Open Office but that you are opening an Excel spreadsheet. Excel is Microsoft.

Can you please clarify? What kind of document are you opening in what program?

There is a known bug in OpenOffice when trying to open
an Excel .xml file. Recommended solution is to open the
file with MS Excel and save it as .xls.
