Hi friends.. this is my first post in a forum.. forgive me if there are any mistakes..
i'm having a java 1.4.2 version but it is showing the following result for java -version command..
java version "1.3.1_01"
Java<TM> 2 runtime Environment, Standard Edition <build 1.3.1_01>
Java HotSpot<TM> client VM <build 1.3.1_01,mixed mode>

Actually i need a version of 1.4.1 or higher version.. how can i remove my older jvm and install new jvm of higher version
