Running Vista Home Edition.
I carefully followed the instruction to load the snipping tool but it is not listed.
Control Panel>Programmes>Programme Features>Turn Window Features On and Off.
Am I missing something or is there another way to get to the tool?
Thank you for any and all help.
GEORGE.

I use FastStone Capture. works really well. I got it when it was free but I think they charge now. You may also try Stardock which I think is free

Good luck

tpm,
Why buy one when there is an easy work around? It works well enough for what I want and I don't need it very often.

I've got Ultimate and have never bothered with the Snipping tool - geotan's workaround is all I need.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
