Windows keeps shutting down

Hi MrsRat and welome to BC

After she recieved it windows kept shutting down on her

Can she boot the computer to Windows in either safe or nomal mode? At what point does the computer shut down? Does she have a boot disk? Knowing the operating system would be very helpful.
