[FONT=Courier][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue] [SIZE=14] [SIZE=7] Well, this is the first time I've done this type of thing, so please forgive all goofs. Why am I here? I have been trying to find information on Windows XP word processing capabilities and in the process have become extremely confused. I thought perhaps someplace in these forums I could find some answers. Although I use my new computer for cruising the Internet and e-mailing, what I need it for mostly is writing. So, I'm hoping that by the time I chat with all of you computer savvy people, I will have a great command of the word processing programs. I, too, hope I can find the proper place to ask my questions.

To tg1911 and jgweed --thanks a lot for your replies. And for the hint about going to Business Applications for word-processing info. That makes sense. I must say, this is a great web site. What I can't figure out is why a person can't get this information in the instruction books!!!!!!
