If you haven't already done so:

> Click on Start
> Set Program Access & Defaults
> Click on the double arrow next to Custom
> Make your selection there & click OK

In Ff,

-click tools
-Options
-Advanced..at the top
-Click the General tab
-At the bottom...Check..Always check if Ff is your default browser

When you 1st turn on your computer, open Ff...and check "make Ff your default browser....and then any link that you open will be in Ff.

-Tools
-Options
-Tab
At the top...Click..Open in new tab....Then you will keep one Ff window open with your tabs across the top

You will still need IE to do your "Windows Update" Please do not forget to do that more often than not.

Good Luck!!

Also, some programs launch links in IE regardless of Default Browser settings.
