Has anyone seen this trojan and gotten rid of it? AVR - or ANVR has a pop-up .exe that I killed but it has taken over everything else and I can't get to the internet, run a anti-virus update or get combofix to run.

ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer.

That said; can you give us the PRECISE name of the infection?

Thanks! I have used combofix before, but I have actually found the remedy on your site already. What I have is the AntiVirus Trigger. I am running the malwarebytes scan right now. I was bale to find many of the infected files myself - the annoying anvrtrgr.exe file to start with, but couldn't get it to "un-hijack" my browser and network connection.

Thanks again, I will be back if mwb doesn't work.
