I bought a Phillips pc controller SGC2909BB/27 for gameplay and while the box says it is compatible with Window XP, when

I installed it it claimed that the controller "did not pass the test" and it could be bad if installed. My wording, of course but

really how bad could it be? I installed, and trying to configure a game to see if it will work or not.

Do you think that warning is a "big deal"?

Well, I have figured out how to use the controller as a mouse. Why I would wanna do that I don't know, but I can.

Since it WILL work on this computer I need to find some Call of Duty 4 assistance. I think this is not the correct forum for such a request. Merry Christmas and again thanks for the assist.
