windows xp activation problem

I reinstalled xp with partitioned E drive on hp pavillion, now its asking to activate windows...i put original key in ...It told me , invalid key......tryed activating on line @microsoft....to no avail....tryed phone activation to no avail....i'm ready to give up ....it says i have 30 days to activate windows........what to do?........Thanks

Call Microsoft and explain the problem. Or call your Computer provider and explain the problem. Usually your computer provider can barter with micro$oft to get you another license key.

When you tried phone activation, you first have to go through the automated system. If that doesn't work, you will be connected to a customer support agent. Did you actually get to talk to a real live person?

Finnally got thru to microsoft...(real live person) problem solved....THanks to all :thumbsup: QW4J8
