Finding lost files.

I did a non destuctive format of my hard drive now i can't find anything that was in my documents. I can locate all the stuff from the other accounts but mine have seemed to disappear. My drive still shows the same amount of usage so trhey should be somewhere i just can't locate them..

You might try using one (or both) of the following free programs. They present a graphical view of the of disk usage on your computer. They might help you locate the missing files.

"SequoiaView":

"WinDirStat":

http://sourceforge.net/projects/windirstat/

EDIT:
If you remember the name of any of the missing files, another option is to use the XP search facility (Start, Search). Be sure to check the Advanced Options boxes for "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search Subfolders".

They are not locating them either. They only find about 40gigs of the 125+ used
