My computer has been working fine until a few days ago. I tried to install the beta version of the new AIM. After it downloaded, it said it couldn't connect. I uninstalled both versions of AIM and reinstalled the version I had. Now even that can't connect. My mom installed a new Anti-Virus yesterday, but when it tried to update it couldn't connect either. We thought it was because it wasn't registered and clicked register, but it couldn't connect either. Nothing on my computer, except Internet Explorer, can connect. I tried downloading Google Chrome and FireFox, but those couldn't connect to the internet so I just uninstalled those. Any ideas about what isn't letting me connect?? Windows XP

Thanks,
Jason

This is the number one reason why you should never download a Beta version of anything unless you are prepared to reinstall your operating system You can try repairing winsock settings
Manually:

or here a little application that will do it for you:

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
