I got hit bad with a malware that pretty much brought my computer to a halt. Thru searches on the internet, I performed a few actions.

1.) Downloaded Adaware 2008. Installed it, but would not update.

2.) Downloaded Malwarebytes Antimalware. Setup woud not run. Read that I should rename the setup.exe and the program executable once installed. Program was then able to install and run. However, it too, would not update.

3.) Found postings descibing similar circumstances to mine. Stated that there is probably malware isntalled a service redirecting my browsing. I would find the service under Device Manager / View / Show hidden Devices / Non-Plug and Play Drivers. There I would find TDSSserv.sys. Disable that and reboot. When I did that I was then able to update Antimalware software and scan. It found a number of items. I removed them and the computer seems to be operating much better. However, I am seeing some strange things. Nothign too far out there, but just wanting to know if I need to take care of.

Here is my Hijack This log for starters. Thanks for your help.
