Do you have a Microsoft XP install CD...and valid XP key?

If so, a repair install ought to take care of your situation.

A repair procedure is the same for XP Home and XP Pro...but you must use the appropriate CD (Home for Home, Pro for Pro) and it must include the same level of SP which your system currently reflects.
