Chrome and firefox video help

now im getting annoyed ..my comp was working so great before i screwed it up ... and now i need to find the settings/stuff that runs certain things all over and i forgot which was which so please help me out ...

now when i go to youtube or any site containing videos ,instead of being able to watch the video i get the quicktime plugin image ... than i cannot watch any videos ...please tell me if i have to change a setting or if i need an addon to be able to watch this stuff ...please help lol

Quicktime? Do you have the latest version of Flash?
