When you set up a network with EIGRP do you have to use the same autonomous number on each router for them to communicate with each other or are they sopposed to be different?

Also when you add host tables to the routers so that you can ping the routers name instead of there ip address. Can computers on the lans ping to the names? or do they have to use the ip address still.
