Hi,

I have installed Windows XP pro on my Dell desktop and I am unable to adjust the screen resolution or increase the colour quality above 16bit.

When I right click on the screen Display Properties open, on the settings tab, there is no reponse when I try to make adjustments.

If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate some help.

You need to install the proper Video driver for your computer.

This may be as easy as being on-line, and then going to the device manager: Start > right click on My Computer > Manage > Device Manager. Find your video device, (it may be under Display Adapters) double click on it, click on Driver, and then click on Update Driver. Your computer will go online and look for the correct driver.

If that fails:
Go to support.dell.com and find the correct driver to download and install.

If you need help finding it, please post the exact model and any other numbers (such as a service number) here and we will help you find the right one.
