I have a Compaq Armada laptop, with Windows 98 installed and a Pentium III processor. My problem is that my computer turns light blue whenever it feels like it. Even if I don't touch the monitor at all, it sometimes turn blue out of nowhere. My only option is to move the monitor part of my laptop up and down until the color goes away. This works out for about a week's time of using it, until I have to repeat my crazy excercise all over again.

Although this is not an immediate emergency, I was wondering what could have caused this. If it has to do with the lights, then why am I able to bring the computer back to its normal "self' after a little jiggling?

Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like a loose connection.

What is the make and model of this laptop?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

The x86 is referring to the CPU. This is a Compaq Armada, but I need to know the specific model. It should be listed some place on the case.

Hopefully it should be on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop

I understand that maybe it is a loose connection, but why can I make my screen go back to normal? And what kind of loose connection?

Can anyone help me?
