How do I make FLAC files playable on Windows Media Player????

Pretty much self explanatory. Download the codec, install, play.

I am a retired Ford tech. Next to Fords, any computer is a piece of cake. (The cake, its not a lie)

FLAC does not come with WMP, which is annoying. ID3 tagging does not work with FLAC in WMP and using the seek function to skip ahead in a song is also broken. Other than that it works like a charm.
