I installed Oracle 10g on my PC(O/S-Windows XP).
It shows the following error when I attempt to "connect" it ORA-01033 ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress.I tried some commands that I found on the internet which gives me the following errors: ORA-01507 database not mounted.
SQL>alter database mount; gives me the following error: ORA-00205:error in identifying control file, check alert log for more info.
I have a test on SQL this wednesday :flowers: and I wanted to install ORACLE today, but I have no idea how to deal with these errors  ...Please help!!!
