Okay. A married friend of mine has a suspicion that her husband has been visiting a certain website and contacting women for possible meet-ups. She *knows* he's been to this site, she has seen the site. The only problem is, she was in such shock at the time that she can't remember the name of the site anymore. She does think though, that if she saw the name of the site again, that she would be able to recognize it.

What we are now wondering is: Is there a way to find out where he's been online, other than through the cookies on his computer or through the Internet History? (he's cleared both, tha bastard!)

She would really appreciate ANY help you could provide.

There certainly are ways to accomplish this but personally I don't feel comfortable helping someone monitor someone else's internet usage any more than I would condone anyone rummaging through someone else's personal effects.

Thanks for your comment. Personally, though --- in my opinion, anyway --- if you weren't willing to help, you shouldn't have replied at all. I personally don't care what your opinion is of what she's wanting to do, and I doubt she would care either. Perhaps if you ever found yourself in her shoes you would feel differently.

Thanks for your input.

Hi computergeek522

I am so sorry to hear of your friends worries. She has a good friend in you.

Maybe this info. will be of some help.
Now I have not used any of these programs. So I am afraid that I will not be able to provide any guidance.

I wish her well.

BTW Here is a link to another thread here at BC, addressing this very issue.

Scarlett ---

Thanks for the info on the programs. I've passed the info on to my friend.

It's nice to know there are people here who are willing to perhaps put aside their own personal opinions and help others. Thank you again.

You are welcome.

Please do not be so hard on Leurgy. He has choosen to stay neutral. He has a right to his opinion, as do we all.

Lol And I have to admit that I did not really put aside my personal opinions. Since... well... I have been in close proximity to a situation very similiar to this one.

Well, I apologize to Leurgy for being so "hard" on him. I admit that my reaction was coloured by the fact that I have had a problem with him here in the forum at an earlier time.

Anyway, like I said, I appreciate your help, Scarlett.
