I am having a problem connecting to my EPSON WorkForce 600 printer from a laptop, which is running Windows XP Pro. The printer was initially set up for wireless printing from a desktop pc (Windows XP Pro). The desktop is wired to the router and talks to the printer through via wireless just fine. I can print from this pc and another laptop, which is running vista without problems. I have tried disabling the firewall (Comodo Internet Security) on the XP Pro laptop, but I cannot even see the printer on the network. Finding the printer on the network was a snap from the vista laptop, but it does not seem to be the case for the XP one. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?
I was trying to add the printer through Printers and Faxes like RandomUser had mentioned, but I did not pre-install the drivers. For whatever reason, I did not have to do this for the Vista machine. In any case, thanks for the advice - I'll give it a shot!
