I purchased a GeForce 9600GT PCI-E 512MB GDDR3. I installed it on my Dell XPS410 with no problems. I have my Dell set up with dual boot XP or Vista Home Premium. All updates etc.
for both operating systems are up to date. My problem is, when I boot into Vista the card works fine hooked into the card's and monitors DVI ports. The problem comes when I
boot it into XP, it loads to my desktop and then the screen freezes, is all botched up and I have to turn the computer off with the power button. When I converted to the normal
analog cords it works fine on both Vista and XP. Has anyone any suggestions as to why it won't work in XP? The card has dual DVI ports and I get the same results on either one.
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, carp

Joshuacat,
Thanks for the quick reply. I thought I had the most recent but am behind one. I will download and install
and see what happens. I'll let you know. Thanks again, carp

Not any suggestions from me, but I'm curious.

Who's the manufacturer of the card?

And if you have the box, what does it say for stream processors?
