I installed Superantispyware free edition and ran a quick scan. The computer froze and I restarted. Ran it again and it froze again, in exactly the same spot. I have a folder where I keep all the install versions of my programs. It always freezes just at the end of scanning that folder.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try downloading it again. Also try it in safemode and see what happens

Make sure you are running 4.22.1014 and if you are, then uncheck the Kernel Direct and Direct Disk Access options under the scanning control tab of SUPERAntiSpyware's Preferences.

Nick Skrepetos---------Is this a fix for everyone? Mind elaborating on the why this works?
Another user today had a problem (maybe) with SAS after installing and attempting to reboot. Would this
problem be related?
