I have been lately having the problem were my NetGear WNR834V v2 disconnects me from the internet just long enough for my skype to hang up the call I'm making then its fine. I have tried to lower the MTU from 1500 to 1400 hoping that might help and it did nothing at all. I then got new firmware thinking that might help and it didn't. I wanted to make sure it was the router so I connected my computer up to the modem directly and it had no problems. I'm reluctant to get a new one since this one is a little over a year old. any ideas on whats going on? I tried to reset the factory defaults and that didn't help ether. is there anything I can do to fix this one or do I have to replace it?
