I'm having trouble understanding what you have written, could you please clarify? What I can follow is that you start your computer and click on your username, but after that I don't understand what is happening. Does the computer start shutting down as if you have gone through the turn off computer sequence, or is it just shutting down?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I have the same problem - I logon, and then I am immediately logged off, of my (admin) accounts [XP - HOME -for now]. Any ideas?

It just happened, so I have an inkling it may well be a viral side effect, like another [Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator](!) a few days ago.
I'm headed toward a clean reinstall, but can't do it just yet.

Hope I can get this figured out soon - help!
