Firstly it sounds like i may be having the same problems NATE279 was having--http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic179020.html but i don't want to follow any steps incase his logs/infections vary from mine! Also noob here so i'm not sure if i should have asked to have that re-opened. sorry in advance.

Ok, reading through this and other forums i've downloaded and ran the following with no avail: HJT, Ad-Aware, ComboFix, SdFix, Malwarebytes, spyware Doctor.

I recently built a new computer, running xp pro sp3. I too have an external HD(for music and apps, etc.) I full formatted when i could not seem to remove, the infection survived. I'm Using Eset antivirus, Have a linksys Wired Firewall Router, and this redirection issue is affecting both home computers linked on the same router/home network. When i attempted to use bitdeffender, spydoctor, Ad-aware and Windows Update; they all fail. Windows Update takes me to the MSN homepage. Any updates for example: ie, WMP, WindowsLive all result in page cannot be displayed. Google will sometimes take me to jump, smartbiz, yellowpages, ebay and so on instead of what i searched. My java is up to date and checked via their version verification on the site.

Malwarebytes has found the Trojan.Dns 6 Bad Files, upon Restart/Re-scan, they come back!

Here are my HJT Logs and Malware Logs! Thanks In advance, this has been an issue for a while, can't wait to fix!!

Ben.
