Hello ryzies,

The event viewer may give some more information.

1. Click Start select run
2. Type eventvwr.exe
3. Press enter
4. Search through the groups for errors and warnings.
5. Double click on each error and or warning.
6. Locate the copy to clipboard button, Posted Image (under the two arrows)
7. Let us know what you find. (paste the results)
Regards,

Alan.

Is this a XP computer? Did you try removing if from Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and rebooting? Is it listed?
I would assume you are downloading 3.0.4?

Try the custom install and put it in another directory.

From this ...C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
You could try C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox3\

Hello ryzies,

To avoid confusion, I have merged your most recent topic, "Can't Start Firefox" in this forum to your previously existing topic. Starting 2 topics about the same problem is called double posting and is not allowed on this board.
Please keep all of your replies concerning this issue to this topic.
The members helping you will be looking for your responses to their questions in the topic they replied to.
Posting it elsewhere, will cause a delay in the help you receive, and neither one of us wants that. :flowers:

Let us know if you have any success with Joshuacat's suggestion.

Please note it is possible the problems with installing Firefox may be related to your infection. If Joshuacat's idea doesn't work, please wait until your system is declared clean and then try to install Firefox.
