Hey all!!! HELP!

Already lost info on all drives! Had XP home on system, intermediate that lost it all!

Two WD74 raid 0 + 1 Maxtor. When tried to clean install on the stripped raptors it formatted Maxtor which I was using for other files.
I am trying to install XP home without success, it keeps stating that there is no hard drive.

HELP! TY

sounds like the RAID configuration may have been lost and will need to be rebuilt.....can you access the RAID management software.....

i will assume you have verified your RAID configuration......during windows setup you may have to install third-party drivers (for your RAID card) before windows will see it.....once you start into the setup look at the bottom of the screen and it will prompt you (F6) to do this.....

I see F6 I was told I would not need. Install seems to recognize then does not complete install. Most recent went thru copying files, restarted to blank screen with just the cursor blinking...

What's the motherboard manufacturer and model?

Is your RAID set up properly?

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/393/2

Did your BIOS ask you to denote a boot drive?

Is the RAID properly reflected in the BIOS?

For the sake of simplicity...disconnect the Maxtor drive...until you get XP set up. You don't have to remove it, just disconnect the power and IDE/SATA cables from it.
