I have a old IBM R52 that I use practically every day. After I replaced the hard drive with a spare and installed a Kubuntu/XP dual boot it got what I worked on done.

However, it seems to be struggling to boot now a days. I would usually have to preform a hard shut down a couple of times before it would give me the option to choose between which OS.

Today proved more difficult it took me about 10 minutes and 5-6 reboots to get it to boot properly, is this a sign of more bad things to come?
