I am having some problems with sony vegas. I have used it many times before but when I got my new pc I installed it and now when it starts to load and gets to creating windows, then the program opens, sort of. Basically the application starts to show up on the screen like its gonna start then it just freezes half way to the point where I have to shut my computer down. I can't even get the task manager to come up. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Society leans heavily on computers. If you have the power to take out computers, you have the power to take out society.

Did you try removing the application, and re-installing it?

There is a version 8.0C on the Update/Download site. Have you tried downloading and installing this?

Hope that helps,
