Hi, I'd be ever so happy if someone could help. :flowers:

Over the past couple of weeks, I've had these voices speak on my laptop when IE is or isn't open saying "Congratulations you've won a free..." It could be a Nintendo Wii or an iPod nano - it's both a guy and a girl talking. "Who doesn't like free stuff?" it sometimes asks. Sometimes it says "No way!" in a scary voice. I also noticed that in "Internet Options," my Privacy & Security settings will be changed to a unsafe, custom level. Even though I'll change it manually, it changes the setttings right back automatically. I can't even keep movies on full-screen for more than a minute b/c the pop-ups will minimize them. I also get Antivirus 2009 popups and "Spyware Infection Found" notices.

I run Windows XP, SP3. I have CA AntiVirus, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and CC Cleaner. I do not run SAS and MBAM together. The CA, MBAM and SAS seem to pick up diff't Trojans (Trojan FakeAlert/Trace, Trojan MSANSSPC, Vundo Variant, etc.) that I always erase/reboot when detected (as recommended by the programs), but the voices and popups are always back when I reboot. I've tried scanning for viruses/malware in SafeMode, doing a System Restore on a normal Windows reboot to see if I could get back to my old settings. Nothing is working.

**I have an HJT log, as well - as I downloaded HJT when I saw that other people had the same problems and had to produce the logs for tech assistance, however I see that there is a special place for that in the forums...so I will wait for a response first from a BleepingComputer team member.

THANK YOU in advance.

Hi MRey1109731,

Please Update and rerun a malwarebytes scan. Post a fresh log and we can proceed from there.
