I removed MSJVM for security reasons and then d-loaded and installed Sun's software. However Java applets will not run in IE but mozilla firefox still works. I use both and would like Java functionality in both. As a note, on Startup I get a dos screen saying 'Javasup.vxd is missing and is referenced by an app. Press a button to continue...' I can extract the vxd from my Win98SE disk cab files but I don't where to put it and if it needs to be registered.

Well, delete everything that has to be with Java ( from your control panel ) and reinstall it and see how it goes?
