Running several 03' servers at work and want to know how often I need to defragment them? They all get heavy usage and same with the workstations. Is there some guidline as to how often. Thanks for the input.

Hey,

I usually defreg my harddisk every 1-2 month - It usually do it when I feel that my computer is acting a bit slow and my startup is a bit slow, then I'll do defreg.

I'd suggest you do it every 1 month or something that would be good  .
Everyone has their own options though :D

Hi reno and welcome to BC

We've been discussing this in another thread lately. Have a look at Sporadic or regular defragging, Do you regularly defrag your computer?
