Same problem as STORMIE. Trying to download adaware2008 and I get the Windows installer service could not be accessed screen. Due to windows running in safemode. Have tried to find out how to disable safemode , no luck yet. Any advise?

Are you not able to boot into normal mode?
Windows Installer isn't designed to operate in Safe Mode.
