Good morning, I'm running Xp home with all the latest service packs, I'm running trend anti virus / spam program. I use mozilla fire fox for the browser. The puter is a gateway about two years old. I can be on the internet and when I click on a link the internet is lost as indicated by the "searching" on the screen. and the DSL light goes out on the modum. Most of the time if I restart the internet will come back. I noticed, once that the cooling fan came up on rpm like it was loading a program and as soon as the fan almost completed the ramp up I lost the internet. I have run the virus and spam software but have found nothing. I have restored to earlier times. and also tried reseting the modum but this has not helped, Any recommendations?
