.JAR problems

Using a program called BlueJ there is an option to export a class into a .jar file however on the computers of 6 of my friends and mine it can't be run. I double-click the .jar and all it does is show the hourglass and stops... help? :thumbsup: :flowers:

Any program that can open zip files can open jar files.

I can tell that that program is trying to do something :flowers: but when I make an exe out of my jar it just goes to the self extractor and doesn't run.... what does that mean. oh and running the jar just opens the extractor so maybe I jsut don't know how to use it but It's definetely not working right now. :thumbsup:

I really couldn't say. I've never had to open such an extension
