i am new to the computer world so i don't understand what has happened all of a sudden. every time i try to boot and logon i get to entering my password and then it says user profile service service failed to logon and user profile does not load. whats up with that ? anybody know ? i just registered here tonite. been goin crazy tryin to figure this out !!!! i'm running on safe mode. it sucks.

Try creating a new account for yourself (in the Users applet in Control Panel) and see if you can get into that in normal mode.
If so, then copy your documents/data over to the new profile (you may have to take ownership of them if you get an Access Denied error).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

yes i have tried to get system restore to work many times but i cannot get a restore point to work with and then i'm blocked. thanks for asking. last nite i did come across the advice to start a new user account and copy my stuff. when i went to print it my printer had been ejected from my system. so i used a pen and paper.rats! whats up with all the fix it upload deals ?? do they just want your money?? or do they work?? :huh:

Which fix it upload deals are you talking about? Here at Bleeping Computer we generally end up fixing systems with freeware - so you won't have to pay.
