I recently purchased a netgear wireless n router. I'm not getting a very good signal at the other end of my house. I understand that a range extender is what I need. The problem is I can only find range extenders for wireless g. Would these work fine with a wireless n router? And if so, would some speed be sacrificed by the fact that the extender was wireless g and not n? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, is a wireless extender the best solution, or would something else be smarter?
