Im running XP Home Edition with three user accounts. When I turn the computer on it runs fine on the first account entered.(doesnt matter which account). When I switch to a diff.account the computer slows to a crawl.I have plenty of ram.
I have to manually shut down and reboot, then problem repeats itself.
Have run Threatfire and Avira scans,no help.Any ideas?
Thanks.

Go to the Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer and look for problems that occurred around the same time and copy/paste in your response

Do you switch users or log off/logon?

Try both to see if it's a problem with Fast User Switching.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
